NEW: Philosophy and Law Minor

The minor in Philosophy and Law allows students to take classes that cover such issues as: What is the relation between law and morality? How do changes in technology contribute to changes in the law (e.g. regarding medicine or environmental issues)? Does the law help or hurt oppressed groups in society? Ethics and Development Workshop at MSU

When: All day, Saturday April 11, 2009, beginning at 9:00 AM
Where: Residential College in the Arts and Humanities Theater, Snyder

The central purpose of this workshop is to examine interdisciplinary inquiry concerning
development that combines ethical analysis and empirical research. It is of special
interest for graduate students in (or considering) MSU's Graduate Specialization in
Ethics and Development, as it will aid them in planning and carrying out their practicum
