The Philosophy Club

Visit the Philosophy Club's own website by clicking here.

The MSU Undergraduate Philosophy Club seeks to support the practice of philosophy among the student body and others in the university community in a relaxed social environment. Anyone interested in philosophical questions and dialogue is welcome to join the club. The task of the club is

• to help connect undergraduate majors and interested students with one another, to connect undergraduates and graduate students, to foster undergraduate and faculty connections,
• to provide a forum for critically developing and examining philosophical viewpoints, and provide exposure to all areas of philosophy,
• to help members think about what they're going to do after they graduate, and
• to have fun together!

Our club is dedicated to enhancing the intellectual environment of Michigan State University, by providing students with a forum to engage with philosophical subject matter on a weekly basis, in a setting which is always lively and friendly. Our program includes visits by external speakers, discussion of films, topic discussions, practical questions (such as internships and Career Services), and debates about issues of either historical or contemporary relevance.
